    Fresh from auction. Seems like I have seen pliers like this before but I just can't pin down when or where. It's clearly an older pair with wood handles. Any input on what these would have been used for would be greatly appreciated.

      Curling iron. You'd put the metal parts on the fire/stove and curl (burn) your hair.
