I found this in the attic of our family's home and believe it belonged to my grandmother. It appears to be handpainted in a metallic gold and silver atop a black glass bottle that is rectangular with curved/chamfered edges.

This is engraved around the top MARCEL FRANCK and PARIS and indicates it is a patent pending item--SGBD.

When the bulb is squeezed, air comes through the top which indicates this is still working.

If anyone can tell me more about when this was made, please send along information.

What a gorgeous Perfume Atomizer by Marcel Franck ! I remember my grandmother having these atomizer's on her vanity and they were not to be touched .
Company states " bottles are made in crystal or Murano glass with insertion of silver or gold leaf. They are mouth blown by master glassblowers having a secular know-how. They are signed and numbered"
I see what appears to be a signature on bottom L under a leaf .
