This clock is almost 100 years old and belongs to my Grandfather. Currently this clock is out of order. We have tried to repair it many time but now its beyond repairable as stated by clock technician.

This clock repainted and refurbished back in 1980's and remained in running condition till 2000 but now it is out of order.

If anybody can give me some more details about this clock please give me.

Thanks

When them clock was redone in the 1980's the glass in the bottom was put in backward. It should be turned around to read "Regulator."

The pendulum is off and it will not run without it.

It may be a Japanese clock in the American style, but is not a fake. It looks to date from the 1920's, so it is an antique. There should be no reason the clock cannot be put back into working order. The technician who looked at it may not have the experience to handle the repair it needs. I may be able to help.

@ AR8Jason thanks for your suggestion. The pendulum is very much there but the problem is the hook which holds the pendulum is broken.

@ clockman1954 thanks for your comments. Yes you are right that this clock is repairable but unfortunately i am unable to find any technician in my part of world to repair it. I am still searching some technician for its repair.

One again thanks for both of your comments.

    Hi Aamir,

I also have one of the same Regulator Clock (with pendulum) in perfect working condition. It belongs to my grand father and arround 100 years old.
I used to send my clock for service/ lubrication once in 2-3 years.
For clock repair/ advice you may contact a technicin (Mr. Asim at 35678254, 0321-2159674). Usually the repair time required for such clocks are much more than the new ones.
