I'll show you the charming story of these antique earrings. You will see two pictures here of a painting (in my possession) of my great-grandmother (1858-1937). This painting was signed in 1931 and my great-grandmother has, at that time, the age of 73 years. Besides the legacy of this painting I have inherited the brooch, which she wears on this painting. It was originally a brooch but later changed into earrings, therefore one is slightly larger than the other. Partly by getting this cute earrings and the associated history this is one of the sources for my love of antique jewelry.
