I found this in a shop in the Adirondacks while on vacation. There is some wear to the edges, and some damage to one of the drops on the front design, but it's in pretty nice shape. It's marked Sterling Germany, and on the inside someone has placed VIII and IIII roman numerals. Not sure what they mean

I would guess IIII is a test or customs mark - there's no Roman numeral that looks like that.
