I dream of pieces like this in my sleep!! When I find a little brooch like this I am no hurry to sell and most definitely want to enjoy it myself for as long as possible. Such a delightful hand enamelled portrait of a georgian lady with powdered hair surrounded by delicate antique seed pearls. En habille with the tiny rose cut diamond accents in her hair and as a brooch. I believe it to be French in origin. Such wonderful delicate pastel colours just so typical of the georgian era. I adore it I hope you do too!!

A marvellous little fine brooch. And I'am always wondering that the faces in earlier times has an other look than to day. This is a very good example of this.
I love your jewelry and agree with Agram! I kept all my grandmother's jewelry that she gave me before she died. I played with it when I sat with her in church as a child, and was her only granddaughter. Now I have some of other relatives antique costume jewelry and I wear it to church at times !
