    Found this in an old gentleman's apt hidden... Not sure what it is... he was very old and passed away.. we were cleaning out apt and found...

      I found this renovating an elderly gentleman's apt that recently passed away. It was hidden back behind the water heater tank..

      Better pics, and the writing going the right way...looks like a "small battlefield messenger bag / Radio / or mail canvus bag. Not sure if it is old or not as can not make out the writing on it

      Was The gentleman Russian or Greek?? Gas masks were issued to citizens. There was different TYPES so that's maybe the translation you got on the other site??
