I just recently inherited these plates. They were found in my mother's safety deposit box. I've tried every Avenue I know trying to get information on them . Dealers tell me very little but then turn right around wanting to buy them. I don't understand why they would want them if they can't furnish me with full details. Can anyone here give me any information about them ? Also , is there any real need to having them kept in a bank deposit box ? C

As the letter says, they need to be appraised by a respectable company or appraiser. If you live near a museum which has a Ceramics department, you could start there, or if you plan t sell, contact an auction house such as Sothebys

No do not plan to sell it. Just was interested in getting any information on it that I could. I looked in replacements.c but I did not find it there . Just was hoping someone might know alot about chinq pieces. Thank you

Copy and paste the above into your search engine. There are all kinds of sites that may help you. As far as I know, no particular CW member specializes in Sevres porcelain.
