One of my most favorite projects. There were no makers marks at all, so forged ahead and redesigned this adorable vintage figural "nursery lamp". Took a long time, as it was brass plated, making any paint hard to adhere. Ended up with spray paint base, then gilding wax detailing with some touches of testers enamel paint. I found a little straw hat that fit. Then I switched it to a 4 x 4 poplar wood square that I stained to look like a hardwood floor for him to sit on. Not sure of the era before WWII at least. His name is Julio Fernando.
