I have a Kewpie O'Neil Thinking Doll that seems to have 2 signatures! The first one is O'Neil and the second signature looks like it says Drayton. Now If I'm not mistaken that is very very rare. Also, the red ink over O'Neil seems to look like a 4, I'm not sure though. Can anyone give me any additional information on this item and what it may value dollar wise. Thank you in advance!

Also, what does the red stamped ink number stand for?
I just inherited this doll; I am looking of its value and where would I go to find out what you have. I know it was it was given 1916 so it old.
So I did find out that it is signed GG Drayton and O'Niell, but I am not finding out very much about whay this Kewpie has both signatures. The two ladies worked around the same time and had some things in common, Drayton's Campbell's Kids who like very similar to O'Niell's Kewpies. They had also had work published in the same magazine around the same time. But how and why did they both sign this Kewpie? Are there any more out there like this one that have both signatures?
Mitch, to answer your question, the value depends on the overall condition of the doll. Are there any hairlines (tiny cracks usually found around the neck and arm area), chips or other flaws? Also the markings on the doll and the material from which it's made as well as the size it is. I'm not certain where you can get an exact value because I am still looking myself. If I do find more information I will post it here.
