One of my absolute favorite wires. The Matoushek Spur Wheel Barb (H-1305 B) is said to be a variation of the two strand patent (H-1598 B). The stars are very different shapes, but the mechanism for attaching to the line wire is the same. This wire is said to have been reproduced and the telling difference is the size of the rivet in the center. My example is from a large, well known collection (which doesn't mean as much as it use to) and is 3/8" across and is flattened. If anyone could shed more light on this matter, I welcome your comments.
