I’m just looking for any feedback on my item. I recently purchased this for hardly nothing and I was thinking anout painting it. I didnt want to decrease any value it may have.

You need to get closer pictures, especially the joinery. I don't see 1800's in these pictures, I see a modern reproduction with modifications.
Sorry to say. Baby cradles don't bring a lot!! I don't like painting things but Artist painted things sometimes raises the ante. Paint or don't paint that is the ???
