This plate is somewhat better quality than others like it i've seen. It has a stamp 'made in Japan' and an impressed mark of a fan and some characters along with another little gourd shape with some marks in it. I have no idea how to date this piece, so any help appreciated.

This is late 19th/early 20th c. a very good plate!
you are probably right a koransha combination after the split
looks more taisho to me , but it is anybodies game
