Another brought to you by Stuff. This is a book written by Captain Alan Douglas back in 1913. Not sure if Captain Alan Douglass really existed. Often there a ghost writers like those who wrote the Hardy Boys that use a fictitious name. It was published by M.A. Donohue & Co. who put out children's books such as this. They went out of business around 1950. So this book is 70-113 years old.
Got a Tenderfoot patch for the first photo. It is the 72-89 patch. Used to be the lowest scout rank but they added scout.
As a free bonus some Boys Life photos. 1st are some scouts who probably are not lost.
Wrapping it up is the Movie of the Month which is The Old Man and The Sea.
Now I need to get some new material for scout posts.
