I just found a similar one and flipped it right away. Went for almost $100. I will have to post a pic. Shine it up, the gold one's are popular!

That looks to be a 3 piece ball end tech dating between 1938 to 1979. You can find the date code under the razor. It would have a letter and a number. They would be saperated. The number reprasents the year and the letter is for the quarter of the year it was made. If that razor does not have a date code it I belive it was made between 1938 and 1949. Razors dating before 1930 have serial numbers on them You can find Gillette dating info at this site.
