Does anyone know if this Reed & Barton weighted vase is Sterling? 18th Century refers to the product line. And it appears all the silverware from this line is Sterling. The sticker is faded. Would the sterling stamp be under the weighted part of the vase?
Should have marks and company stamp. Almost all the stuff they made was sterling. Good quality stuff though..nice piece.

WOW! Google is STILL messing with ebay! I COPIED the ebay title:
"Vintage Reed and Barton Silver Plated "18th Century" Vase 7 1/2" Fluted Trumpet"
And did a Google search - NOTHING! NO results at all!
How did I find this? Using this search term: "reed and barton spooner 18th century" (No quotes), and this Vatican website came up, so I clicked on the picture of a different vase and there it was - but it wasn't in the google image results, another vase was.

Replacements doesn't even have a reference for this vase! And they usually have everything.
The EBay listing is actually mine. I had to just assume that it is silver plated, since it's not marked and I don't want to miss represent!! Thanks for trying to help. me look!!! It is a mystery!!!
But did you see how I had to find it? What a roundabout way! I even COPIED your listing TITLE, and it did not come up in google search results! I wonder if it was a prototype that was never on the market?
Celine. Yes that is so crazy! I had a heck of a time trying to find it too!! It certainly appears that not to many exist!! Thanks for your research and input! I found some more silver things at a yard sale yesterday which I think are all silver plated, but still need to research!!
