      Looks like a 75mm artillery shell casing from WW One. Millions were made and many were turned into trench art.

      Looks like a 6 pounder shell (57mm), the broad arrow marking is a British (and Commonwealth) military marking. K means Kynoch factory produced. The rest I don't know.
