I recently purchased this vase from a seller on E-Bay. The description follows:
Here is a vintage vivid blue cased glass vase by Murano. The item has 2 clear handles, a clear glass base, and a clear glass flower applied over an end of days pattern. It has pontil on the bottom. It measures 10"/ 26cmH x 4.5"/ 11cmD (top) x 3.5" 9cmD (base). The item is in good condition, no chip / scratch / cracks/ nibbles. No backstamp or label
Since I know almost nothing about Murano glass, I believed the description. However, the glass on this vase is not nearly as thick as the other Murano pieces I purchased. The vase is white on the inside and blue on the outside. The white and blue glass look almost more "formed" or "sandwiched" together rather than "blending" together like the Murano. Also, the glass is thinner and the ruffles are not as pronounced as what I have observed on some other pieces. The image I posted here is the one that was used by the seller on e-bay.
It would be very helpful if any glass experts could provide me with your thoughts. Thank you.

Hi, i am afraid it is chinese, you can find more information here
http://www.theglassmuseum.com/Chinese.html
Not always Chinese.... allots of market sellers made and sold glass objects in Morano some are made in Morano some are not. Glass objects where not always nearly as thick and heavy.
100% definitely Chinese, as the link Susan provided shows. These things were seriously mass produced, I must have seen hundreds of them over the years, at car boot sales, on ebay etc. It is true that Murano glass is not always thick and heavy, but this vase is certainly not Murano.
