I believe that is the WWI version. Yes the bullet hole makes it interesting.

Of course a lot of these were faked to make them more interesting. Without provenance, it's just that ..interesting.
Obviously it’s a gamble, and we’ll never know if it happened in combat or some bloke got a gun and shot it himself, but a good talking point and the helmet itself is good
