Wanting to make sure this is an antique original. It belonged to my great aunt who was born in the 19th century and she had it as long as I can remember so I’m sure it’s an original. I just can’t confirm it by anything I read. It has the number 45 stamped on one foot. Any input?

Very cute ! I believe they are not original and were painted by a hobbyist from a blank mold .Popular to do as far back as 50's but more common in 1970-90s . The painting is wrong and I see no translucent to be bisque and appear to be ceramic .

After blowing them up I agree they do seem to be originals . Can you post another photo of face ?

Here are some new photos. They are definitely older than 79’s because I remember my aunt had them when I was a young child, in the 60’s.
What is the number 45 on the foot? I haven’t found anything about numbers stamped on the foot other than one eBay post…that one had an 8 on the foot. Also, the holes in the feet… doesn’t that indicate it was a single mold and an early piece?
