      It looks like it needs color and maybe a greenware or whiteware lamp. That is where you go for instance to a whiteware shop where they have many molds and make up a lamp where you go to classes on painting your piece. A lot of people then may put on signature or initials when they put them in the kiln. I did that in the earlier 80's to some pedestals I wanted when there were none around. This lamp begs for colour so to me looks very much like a greenware or whiteware piece.

      Thank you Phil for information you provided about lamp. To me no color is needed since when the light is on lamp shade brings on the beauty of the lamp. Simplicity is more too me.

      I understand, some did it just for a glossy glaze on the piece also !~
