Actually it wouldn't be Mattel for a few more years but anyway alliteration and all that.
I bought this for the box as I like the box variations. This is an E style box I believe. Yesteryear boxes are a bit different from the regular models. This one has New Model on the end flap so it is from 1966 when this was a new model.
The backside has the description in four languages and you can read all about the actual car there.
