I found this piece at a yard sale today. It says 'Buddy L Corp Japan' on the bottom. I am wondering when these trucks were made. This one came with five crates but it looks like its missing a piece. I welcome any and all comments or information on any of the pieces I post.

   Hi OddC, the missing piece is a hand truck, I just saw both of you Buddy L's at an antique shop today. They aren't as antique as other Coke toys out there though, they are from the 1970's. But they look like they are in pretty good shape.

   Thanks for the info Tommy. I got them both for $20. Seemed like a good deal. I am sure I will have one hell of a time finding a hand truck to make it complete.

   Tommy, do you know what they are worth? Also, I was wondering how many cases the smaller truck came with originally. This one came with four.

   I'd say you did alright at $20 for both, do a little ebaying and you'll see what they are going for and probably even find the hand truck too. I'm not really sure how many cases were supposed to be with it, mine has 4 also so that sounds like a good number. Maybe some of the other Coke folks will chime in with more info for ya.

   I had that toy when I was a kid, nice to see and wish my dad would saved it for me.

   Yep. I had that one, too! I loved those little bottles in the crates.
