Here's another hold out from my stacks. I could have sworn I posted it years ago but somehow it missed the boat. An abstract still life painted almost entirely with a palette knife. Very little brush work that I can see. Even the signature is scratched into the paint. It's a rather sparse composition but I think the colors more than make up for that short coming. On the back there is an art shop address stamped on the stretcher located here in Ohio. The address is a shopping plaza but the gallery is no longer there just an empty suite. The phone number is a modern 7 digits with no area code. They abandoned the alphanumeric system in the 50's. (Do you remember yours ?) So dating it to the 60's -70's would seem to fit the MCM time frame. -Mike-

Thanks for the "love" and comment yougottahavestuff :) I remember ours in Michigan before we moved to Ohio as being "Parkway" the numbers escape me but our address was 33945 Sequoia. The whole subdivision had streets named after native America tribes.
