    Several days ago, a friend was talking about Coro jewelry. I thought, I cannot participate in this conversation. I have very little, next to none of such. Then I looked back on my postings here. And started going through drawers. Seems I was incorrect. All these are marked. But I will restate I still do not know much about Coro jewelry.

      Gorgeous Coro sets, lovely & stylish for their time. Coro was a top costume maker esp the 30s thru 60s era, there are beautiful examples in book Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia Carroll, one of my favorites

      Hi Dawnlady1. Thanks for being here. Discovery of that set was so strange. All found in a two week period. But all over the place. Sometimes when one does that, something is amiss. Either the metal isn’t quite a perfect match, or the stones in one piece are paler than in another. Or the quality differs because of different wearing. But this is all right on. Perfect.

      These are nice pieces, I used to find a lot of jewelry like this years ago but most all of it was roached and too far gone. I love a lot of their ads and had collected a few ads I've seen !~
