My friend gave me this barbed wire plaque and said John Mantz made it for his dad. It says down in the lower corner. Made for Joel Judge by John Mantz 1987.

That's a cool piece and very generous of your friend. I need to find some of these.
Also..Glidden wire was known as "The Winner". And fun fact..the original inventor of wire was called it thorny wire.
