These two were a bargain at an antique shop I visited up north last week. They were a very reasonable price but the funny thing is they were priced separately one was $15 and the other $10, I assumed the cheaper one was damaged but the shop owner and myself looked them over for a while and could find nothing wrong. He came up with a great solution which was I could have them both for $20!!
No doubt missing their stand or stands but you can't be lucky all the time like the piece I posted a few weeks ago.

These might be made by Stuart & Sons at Stourbridge, England. The corrugated strip to hold the glass bowl in the EPNS metal frame is a characteristic of their work while the green color at the top of the crimped top is regularly found in their glass products. They did use a threading machine apply the clear threads as well. Circa 1900. A very nice find.

Hi Russell, Thank you for your comment I think you are right S&S used the green decoration quite a lot although most I see are described as Art Nouveau but the green accents have more shape and there is a lack of threading and the ribbon around the middle.
I came across another piece described as Victorian S&S and it had the fine threading, ribbon and red spots and another with purple spots on the side.
