Hello everyone!!
It was cold and snowy yesterday, so I decided to paint a couple of cast iron foxes I’ve had since last October. I can't believe I'm just now getting around to painting them. This sleepy little fox kit is yawning so big, he’s about to fall asleep at any moment now. He was cast extremely well and the detail on him is just amazing. He little tongue and teeth are perfectly defined. Something you don't typically see in cast iron.
He was completely rusted when I got it. Took longer to clean the rust off and seal him than it did to paint him. He measures 12 1/2”tall, 7 1/2” wide and 9 1/4” deep. He weighs 12 1/2lbs!
