David Traub from the Glass Factory

David is another American glass maker that has made NZ his home. He originally came here to take over from Tony Kuepfer as Head of the Glass Program at Whanganui UCOL but now runs a small studio he calls the Glass Factory.
A lot of Dave's work these days is fused glass but he still likes to get in a bit of time blowing, although saying that a lot of his platters involve him blowing long canes of glass that he cuts up to make his more amazing platters.
This amall piece I thought would make a great water jug when having a few single malt whiskies or maybe for holding some sake.
