My husband has had this sign for years. I haven't been able to find out much info on it except that it was used in public phone booths probably around the 30's. Does anyone have a sign like this?

My husband has had this sign for years. I guess it was used in public phone booths years ago, maybe in the 30's. Does anyone know anything about these signs...the era, where they were posted?
Most of the electric telephone signs of this type were manufactured by Avery Plastic Co. also Western Electric was another company. There are two of these signs on Ebay, one is asking $225.00 and the other wants $98.95. The sign was manufactured in the early 1940's to the late 1950's.
Thanks, we ended up selling it to a guy who collects telephone memorabilia and he put it on top of a phone booth he owns! Glad it went to someone who is passionate about it. BTW, he paid us $150.00!
