This is a pre war German made elf candy container. The figure stands 8" tall, and is composition. The elf wears felt clothing, and sports a leather work apron. In his hand he holds a mushroom, which is a good luck symbol. These figures are harder to find than the Santa figures. He comes apart at the waist to expose the actual candy container.
