This GIANT SNOW PLOW started life as a Nylint Payloader. I decided about two years ago to convert it to a "dozer." Using a blade from a Tonka T-9 Bulldozer, the first picture shows the original concept.
The second picture shows how the model evolved (in February 2011) with the addition of the roof (from a Nylint tracked payloader) the revised Nylint lift arms and yoke, and the side engine cut-outs revealing the Doepke plastic engine.
After sending to the powdercoater last week I've enjoyed assembling the snow plow over the past few days. About two years from "concept" to finished project - I don't like to rush...
The final two pictures show the finished project. It's huge and HEAVY. I believe it looks as though Nylint could have built and sold it as an original.
Enjoy! James
