Just got this unit in and am looking for people to get it restored. It is a Westinghouse WE-6. Looking for a full restore on it while still keeping it "wet." Seriously thought about going dry but think now the wet version would be nice to have.

Why not try to do as much of this as possible. Tear it down, tag and bag all bolts and small parts. Send out refrigeration unit for rebuild. As for painting, I sent my
machine out for that, but I did most of the body work. Jut go online and do a lot of research. There are many helpful sights. If you are handy around the house
fixing things then you can do it. You will get a lot of satisfaction out of it when it is done. I have the same machine I am doing right now. keeping mine wet. Good luck!
