I need help knowing how old and/or what type of clock this is. I've had it for sometime and willing to get it professional cleaned? Any opinions or thoughts about this clock would be appreciated.

    Thanks.. Vince

      Hello Vince,

It looks like you may have a desk, or table clock made in the general style of a French Carriage Clock. Not to be confused with the "Crystal Regulator", the "Carriage Clock" was a relatively small, portable clock with a handle, generally made of brass and, as the name suggests, originally used for travel. The hands, if original, are more commonly seen on antique French or Ansonia clocks. My guess would be that this clock is modern, but I'm not certain of that. I hope this helps. Regards.
