its a beautiful blue swan basket..what is this never seen anything like it .first time buying and selling glass how do i find out what to buy and sell. any good books to look for on glass

how do u find out how much a item is worth
No substitute for experience -- get out to some antique malls and shows and just look at everything. Go to your public library and check out all the antiques and collectibles price guides. Spend hours and hours looking at completed listings on ebay.
If you are listing things here with questions -- tell us what you know - what is the item marked, what's it made out of, size, etc.

I just saw your swan last week when researching a blown glass "end of day" or spatter type bowl, I can't remember who made it right now......how frustrating!! I was searching blown glass, murano, venetian etc. A lot of steuban (not sure if that's the right spelling) came up in my search and I got onto a sight that had several designers for them it showed a lot of examples for each designer maybe that is where i saw it? If I remember I will write it down this time! I always find something I had been looking for when I'm looking for something else!
