Actually I start increasingly appreaciate peasant jewelry from my own country.
A while ago I placed already a gold brooch, also an example of a peasant jewel made of a so-called Oorzijder.
This navette brooch is very fine, looks like lace and is of silver. It's made around the last half of the 19th century. Very delicately.
