#15B in Hagemeier's book. Patented by George Case of De Kalb, Illinois in 1882, Patent #256,880. This design utilized a 3/4" square washer to attach a 1 1/4" barb to a single line. This 18" example has four barbs. As a young collector I found this wire to be one of the most interesting. It took me several years to add this to my collection. Next to the Dodge star this was my ultimate wire.

Nice wire indeed. I need to get its mate #14B. Seems harder to get.
