Here is a vintage 1950s/60's battery operated Sleeping Baby Bear toy. The clock on the head board rings... the bear then lifts up in the bed, his eyes open, he yawns and squeaks - then lays back down again. This action is then repeated. Way cool. Amazing how old toys were so much cooler than the ones out there now!

Thanks for the comment B68!
This is the toy I had as a little girl in the early 1960s! I have been looking for one for years and yours even has the original box! I loved that toy! You are so fortunate to have it! Was it yours or did your purchase it?
I got it in an online auction - paid a bit for it but had to have it- was too cool to pass up.
guyfromatl - that a great find! I need to be more persistant in lookin online, and maybe I will find one someday. Thanks again for posting it, it was a treat just to see it!
Thanks Scandinavian Pieces!
I don't know how I missed this, awesome toy!!!!!!!
I got into the battery operated toys in the late 70's and I loved my ones that had some amazing tricks to them. Everyone loved them. This one never seen before, and I only have a few, but looks like one to have a lot of fun with. Phil.
