This is the third of the five civil war era trunks that I have. This one was originally covered in paper, but the paper was not salvageable. The beautiful pine bodies on these trunks are fabulous when refinished. The brass rivets add character. I was so excited when I came across my first one, my second one, my third... well you get the picture. I think I have trunk in every room in my house, including the bathroom!! I will post that one soon too! thanks for looking.

That is a BEEEUTIFUL Trunk. If an article could talk of it's history, what would this one say?
