This Mayfield Brewery Sign is a puzzle to me and other local collectors that I have shared it with. I have tried to get information from two Palo Alto historian and they believe it belonged to the original Mayfield Brewery that was close to the railroad station. Does anyone have info on this brewery which came under fire to be closed when Leland Stanford was trying to close Stanford Univeristy? I can't find much on the internet except that it was a california brewery in Mayfield, CA which is now Palo Alto, CA. Thanks....
