If it has a goldish hue in the black at certain angles in the sun light it most likely is Obsidian. Formed by volcano it is often found in statues / jewelry from Mexico and the like for market. My son has a large collection of statues from the last 8-10 years.
Just saw your unknown face. I had a similar face pendant that was also a black/green , I found out it was a tera cotta clay when I droped it and it broke it was red inside. Not that I want you to find out the hard way. Good luck!
