This decanter has been in our family for as long as i can remember. It sat on Dad's bar for over 50 years. Brown glass and either silver or maybe pewter on neck and shoulders and the stopper. the metal is hammered. Can anyone ID this piece? Jimbo

Love this decanter. Maybe it's pewter? It looks a lot like the Royal Holland Daalderop decanter shown here except yours doesn't have the metal on the bottom. Wonder if if could have been lost at some point or if some were made without it:
