In a earlier post i had stated that the Kerr Glass Co. mfg. site was an empty lot. Well, that wasnt completly true. Just the part that we used to deliver fuel too. The silos & furnace room is still there as a reminder of more prosperous times in a town based on mfg. Now 90% of all of these cos. are vacant, with many having to be destroyed to become vacant lots. Surely everyone has seen a Kerr Glass Co. canning jar, there all over the country.
