RP.TA 1999 g.thomassen made with Richard Price at Tetterode ( glassstudio ) inAmsterdam in 1999 . the top part of the spere is dark red the lower part dark blue pic 4.
Thomassen studied at the glasschool in leerdam from 1946-51 and was a drawing teacher at the same school from 1958-62. Was from 1951-67 designer of drinking sets,vases and bowls at the leerdam factory .designed the national wedding gift from the Dutch population to prinses Beatrix ( now our queen) a drinking set that containt more than a 1000 pieces in 1966 (called Corona) which was later taken into production by the leerdam factory.
Stopped completely with glass till in 1994 when he made some Unica pieces at the leerdam factory and also started working with richard price in amsterdam and with bernard heesen at the "Oude Horn ".
