I've got this beautiful piece just recently. I want to identify it but it gives me a headache. It stands about 9.5", the bowl is about 4.5" tall and 9.25" diameter. It weighs 88 oz. Has 10 crystal prisms. The bowl glows light purple under black light. Gives the bell tone sound when it tapped.
The bowl has the star and fan pattern all around with sawtooth rim.
What gives me a headache that there are some lines which seem to be seams but the lines start only at the bottom of the fan patterns. They not start from the bottom of the bowl. The glass has some bubbles inside too.
The stand look like bronze, feel like bronze but it could be gilded metal or brass. Nicely decorated. It has some marked numbers on the bottom. The bowl looks and sounds like cut glass/crystal but what about the bubbles and those lines.
The cuts feel sharper then pressed glass. Does anyone recognise this piece? Oh, an identical piece was sold on ebay as old cut glass bowl for $200. I think mine is not that old old because of the black light test. Please help! I appreciate all input in advance! Thank you so much!
