I bought this Army Trunk in an antique shop for $100.00 bucks and have had it for 10 years. It is 34 3/4 inches square and is 21 inches tall. I use it as a coffee table and also store christmas decorations inside it. I would love to know how old it is and what it is worth.

The first site is for a sousaphone case, which, of course, this is (just the military variety). The second site is for steamer trunks since it is built more on that order. The value is probabley somewhere in the middle.
That does not appear to be a military trunk, too elaborate, too detailed but the color looks military, but it appears to be an instrument trunk.
I have a WWI military trunk which is a very basic trunk with the original soldiers name stenciled onto the outside.
That trunk looks amazing. I could probably hold my violin shoulder pad in there (its kinda big, as is my shoulder). Anyway, it would also be a nice reminder of the service that my grandpa put forth in the U.S. Air Force. R.I.P. grandpa.
