I purchased this wonderful knife the other day. The maker appears to be Wilkinson London. I can not find much information of the stamped markings on the knife. I believe the handles are stag. It is a very nice knife that is 12 inches long and has a 7.5 inch long blade. Anyones help would be great. Does anyone know when this knife would have been made or what the other stampings mean?

On the "XX" side that appears to be the Brit. broad-arrow proof mark which would indicate for gov't. use though I've never seen 1 like it so marked.

Thanks. It is a wonderful looking knife. I was told it gets marked or stamped when someone works on it but I don't know if that is true.
