US coins are struck on blank planchets of the metal intended. There is absolutely no possible way this is a US Mint error. Dimes were struck on silver planchets and cents were struck on copper planchets. Your pictures are not very clear but it looks like the third picture is copper. You are not being very clear in your description. - The heading says you found 2 errors, you show 4 pictures, and you have not cleared up AR8Jason's inquiries. Is it silver on one side and copper on the other? If it is, then it is not a mint error.

If copper on one side and silver on the other, it's got to be a hoaks

Thank you all very much. 1942 or 1943 whom knows what Went on .

I SUBMITTED FOUR VIEWS . TWO OF FRONT (DIME ) TWO ON BACK OF (WHEAT penny )MARKINGS . One coin ...yes we all know how mint strikes coins that is what makes this unique ... NOT A HOAX.

I had one of these several years ago.It was part of a magic trick. This piece fit into a hollowed out penny with the dime side hidden. You showed the single penny, then placed it in a glass and shook it. It caused the two pieces to separate, giving the appearance of making a penny and a dime out of a single penny. I purchase my trick coin at a magic shop in Wilmington Delaware 25 years ago.

I have never heard of the Honorable Integrity Coin Grading Service???
    Exonumia - Novelty Coin
Description of a “Magician’s Coin.” The portion known as the “shell,” is made with another modified coin called an “insert” placed within the hollowed out portion. Most often the insert, machined to tolerances as small as 1/1,000th of an inch, will be made so that when the two parts (shell and insert) are properly engaged, the coin will appear to have two reverses. Another type of insert might be made with a dime so that the magician can instantly change a cent into a dime by simply flipping the coin over while reciting some magical hocus pocus words as he or she performs what to many is an amazing and totally baffling sleight of hand trick. - Magicians have using these for well over 60 years.

Hey mustangtony, I've only been given a few minutes. By tomorrow nite I will have established "HONORABLE INTEGRITY COIN GRADING SERVICE" unless some scam artist(sorry, entrepreneur) hasn't already grabbed the name.
Be sure to send your rare coins to me(uh, us). I(we) have a perfect rating as we don't exist yet.
