These were my mom's. I believe she purchased them in Maine in the early 1950's or late 1940's. The necklace has stones missing. I know there were Americian Indian tribes in the Maine area, but don't know if they made them. The bracelet is carved. I treasure them because they were always in mom's jewelry box. I don't remember her wearing them much.
Can anyone tell me the origin of my jewelry? Are they from Maine? They seem to be silver with no hallmarks.

Sorry, they're not American Indian or silver or turquoise, its plastic and base metal. Thats actually sheet metal with marks to make it look like it was hammered.

They are machine-made stampings. Inexpensive costume jewelry but very pretty nevertheless.

Good to know. I enjoy wearing the bracelet.
