Hi, need help in trying to identify this hat, or man's stick pin from last century, I believe. Gold, with diamond pave. At the top of the wing, there are amber colored diamonds. Been in the family for at least 100 years. Any info is helpful, and thank you in advance!

Hi again. It's a mid to late Victorian piece, circa 1880.
Wing motif evidently (possibly representative of Greek mythology, Icarus, etc...), set with rose-cut diamonds. As white gold wasn't invented yet, the diamonds would have been set into silver, which tops the gold base and stem.
The piece is likely British in origins, and the gold portion could be any where from 9CT to 18CT. (A jeweler could test it for you.) If it's heavily tarnished, as gold does indeed tarnish, I would say likely 9CT.
Value would probably be around $400-$550.
